A customer was present at delivery and the first kit was out the door.  The pattern with the kit was Ocean Rhythms by Jan Douglas Design.



New shipment arrived today with the Double Diamond Rulers.  The bookmark pattern is free.

A huge thank you goes out to all who came to help celebrate Small Business Saturday.  It was busy busy  busy but a lot of fun and loved seeing so many friendly smiling faces.



While the members of the Laundry Basket Club, evening edition, were busy working on their projects, I decided to try out the Creative Grids 2 1/2" Mini-Tumbler Strip Ruler.  A Sweet Pea jelly roll was confiscated and in less than 2 hrs, more than 700 little tumblers were cut.  It was fun and easy.

Our shop hours for this week will change to:
Tuesday, Wednesday - 10 am to 5 pm
Thursday - 1-5 pm
Closed Friday and Saturday for the 'Road to Friendships 2014' Quilt Show, presented by the London Friendship Quilters Guild.  The show will be held at the Oakridge Presbyterian Church, 970 Oxford St.W., London.

Friday, Oct 17th, 10 am to 8 pm
Saturday, Oct 18th, 10 am to 5 pm
Admission:  $6 - Free parking
Come and see our demonstration of Migrating Geese on Saturday at 1:30 pm.

We had a wonderful time at the Memory Lane Quilt Show this past Saturday.  Thank you for the support of many who came to see us.

Unfortunately, a few people did not receive their discount that day.  I sincerely apologize for this oversight.  If you paid by cash and did not receive your discount, please bring your receipt in to the shop.  If you paid by credit card, the amount charged to your card will reflect the discount.  Thanks for your patience.  Gotta stay on decaf during shows. 

It's quilt show time!

We will be a vendor tomorrow at the Memory Lane Quilt Show in Strathroy.  St. John's Anglican Church, 34 Head Street North.  10 am to 4 pm.  Admission is $5.00

There will be a Vendors' Mall, Quilters' Garage Sale and Tea Room, and of course, beautiful gorgeous quilts.

So this means that the shop will be closed today at 3 pm and all day Saturday.  Hope you can make it to the show.
