I attended the meeting regarding the Hyde Park Road Widening Project last night.  What a vision!  It's going to be gorgeous when it's finished.  Boulevards with boxed trees and flowers - self-irrigating.  The Hyde Park/Gainsborough intersection will look beautiful.  Sidewalks will allow browsing from shop to shop - park the car and stroll at your leisure. 

 

There will be 2 days where Hyde Park Road will be closed just north of Gainsborough but access to businesses can be made by coming from Fanshawe to Hyde Park - I am endeavouring to find out when that will be as the Row by Row Shop Hop begins in late June. Will let you all know the progress made. 

 

Traffic will be maintained in each direction so you will still be able to come and see us for your quilting needs and you just never know what surprises you'll find during the construction phase.
